Jammu and Kashmir, India Popularly known as the "Paradise on Earth", Jammu and Kashmir is world famous for its scenic splendour, snow-capped mountains, plentiful wildlife, exquisite monuments, hospitable people and local handicrafts. The best time to visit Kashmir is March through October. If you want to enjoy Kashmir when the flowers are in full bloom and the alpine meadows at their greenest, this is the best period. Having said that, it can get a bit crowded during these months, considering it is the peak tourist season. The fruit crops grown in the state are apple, almonds, walnuts, pears, cherries and apricots in temperate areas and mango, citrus, litchi, papaya, guava etc. in subtropical areas. Saffron cultivation in Jammu and Kashmir is unique in the world.

4–5 days is sufficient to visit the premier locations of Kashmir. Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonemarg and Pahalgaam. There are number of point in each location which you have to prioritize since you won't have too much time. Here are some snaps from our trip .
